SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios II Nikator, second reign, 129-126/5 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.68 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 129-128. Diademed and bearded head of Demetrios II to right. Rev. [B]AΣIΛEΩΣ / ΔHMHTPIOY - ΘEOY / NIKATOPOΣ Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to outer left, Ξ; below throne, O. Franke-Hirmer pl. 207, 756 V (this coin). SC 2166.2c. Fresh and clear, and with a lovely bearded portrait. Slightly rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
